About Julie

I became an authorised provider for Wild Harvest School of Self Reliance as a way of increasing my own skill set. At first my only intention was to be able to make natural products at home for my family, which would make us less reliant on products with unpronounceable ingredients and excessive packaging.

I first met Di, the owner of Wild Harvest, on one of her Basket Weaving courses. I found it extremely relaxing and enjoyable, and I still have a working basket to show for it!

I enjoy a number of crafts at home, such as weaving using my peg and inkle looms, crochet and a bit of sewing.

I enjoy growing fruit and veg, with varying degrees of success, and have also started to create a Forest Garden.

With Wild Harvest, I'm glad to be able to pass my knowledge to others and meet like-minded people.
